As the photographer, I want you to walk away feeling more confident, more yourself, and more ready to chase whatever you’re chasing. As a dad, I get why parents actually care: graduation announcements that look like them, photos that hold up on the wall in ten years. And the engineer in me makes sure your gallery actually lands when I said it would.

I’m based in Frisco, TX, and I shoot seniors, college grads, athletes, brands, and anyone who wants portraits that feel like them. My favorite sessions are the ones that go somewhere unexpected: a location with incredible light, studio-style lighting in the middle of a field, or the whole shoot underwater.

How I got here

Photography has been part of my life since I was a kid. As an engineer who loves programming, I’m one of the lucky few who earns a living from my hobby. I also love the outdoors, meeting people, and water. I was missing my creative side and that’s when I picked up a camera and decided that would be my outlet.

Discovering underwater photography was when everything clicked. Combining my love of water and photography changed the work. There’s something about being underwater that feels peaceful and a little out of this world. Today, I’m one of the few photographers in North Texas offering underwater portrait sessions.

I live here in Frisco with my wife, two boys, and a 6 lb dog who thinks he’s the boss. When I’m not behind the camera or in front of a keyboard, I’m usually at one of my kids’ games, exploring hiking trails, or learning to sail.

Why I do this

My goal with photography is to empower my clients to believe in themselves a little more. That moment when someone sees their photos and goes “wow” — that’s the whole reason I do this.

I want my clients to leave a session feeling more confident, more themselves, and more ready to chase whatever they’re chasing. Whether that’s college, a career in the arts, a sport they love, or building the next world-changing startup. If a portrait session can help someone believe in themselves a little more, I’m all in. That’s how I want to make the world a little better, one shoot at a time.

What a session with me looks like

Every session is fully guided. Whether you’re a senior, a college grad, an athlete, a creative building a portfolio, or someone who just wants bold portraits, I’ll help you plan outfits, pick the right location, and walk you through posing so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

Whether we’re at a park at golden hour, in a downtown alley with studio lighting, or in a pool for an underwater set, I want you to feel confident and have a genuinely good time.

I keep things simple: no confusing packages, no hard sells, no surprise fees. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting before we start. I take on a maximum of four sessions each month so every client gets full attention. Photography is still more hobby than business, and that’s part of the point.
