Marie - Underwater Portrait Session in DFW
Underwater portraits of model Marie from a DFW underwater photography workshop hosted by Beth Graeme. Lace mask, flowing fabric, and natural light.
This was an underwater workshop hosted by Beth Graeme in her beautiful backyard pool. She’s a fellow member of Dallas PPA, and this was one of the best workshops I’ve attended.
Marie is a professional underwater model and could hold her breath longer than any of the photographers shooting her. Underwater you get about one good shape per breath, so a model who can stay down changes what you come home with.
We worked through a few looks: a lace masquerade mask, a red slip, and a paisley sheet floated behind her for the last set. All of it daylight, with the sun doing the work on the surface.
If you want to try this yourself, here’s how an underwater session works.
Like what you see?
I book a limited number of sessions each month. If you've got one in mind, reach out and let's plan it.
