I'm casting a few portfolio sessions. Land or underwater.
A real session at a rate I'm only running this round. Land sessions are normally $250, underwater is normally $750. For this call I'm doing both at $100. I'm specifically looking for athletes, actors, models, artists, and founders. If that's you and you've got a vibe, apply.

I'm running this rate so I can shoot more of the work I want in my book. Here's what that looks like on your end.

$100 books your date
Paid up front to lock the slot. It's your full session fee (not a deposit) and non-refundable. Need to reschedule? That's fine, see #4. Regular rates are $250 land and $750 underwater, so this is well below.

Post one of your photos on your socials and tag @amerkhalid (or mention amerkhalid.com).

Sign a model release
Standard release so I can use the photos in my portfolio, on my site, and in marketing. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign and to be on site.

Life happens, I'm flexible
Need to reschedule? Just tell me. No rebooking fee for genuine reasons. We'll find a new date that works for both of us.

How it works

- 2We chatI review and reply within a day or two. If it's a fit, we lock in a date and a concept.

- 4Plan & shootWardrobe, location, vibe. Day-of I direct every pose so you're not in your head. You bring the energy.
- 5Get photos & post3 edits in a private gallery within 7 to 14 days. Pick a favorite, post it, tag @amerkhalid.
Real questions, straight answers
The stuff people actually ask.
Can I bring a friend or my parent?
Yes, please do. Bring whoever helps you feel comfortable. A friend, partner, parent, sibling. They can carry outfits, hype you up, or just hang out. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian on site is required.
What do I wear?
We plan it ahead together. For land, bring 1 to 3 outfits that feel like you (intentional beats fancy). For underwater, flowing fabrics photograph beautifully. We'll talk specifics once you're booked.
I'm awkward on camera. How does this go?
Most people are for the first 5 minutes. Then I'm directing every pose, hand placement, where to look. You stop thinking and start vibing. Most clients say it ended up feeling more like hanging out than a shoot.
For underwater: do I need to be a strong swimmer?
Just comfortable in water. We go at your pace, and I do a full safety briefing before we start. You're always in control. Glasses or contacts both work, and goggles too if needed.
What if I need to back out after booking?
Rescheduling is fine if life happens, just tell me and we'll find a new date. If you really can't make it work at all, the $100 stays with the booking and the spot reopens.
How will I know if I got selected?
I reply within 1 to 2 days. If you're a fit, we move to scheduling and planning a concept. If not, I'll say so directly. No ghosting either way.

A few things to know.

- Land sessions normally $250; underwater normally $750. This rate is only for this portfolio call.
- 3 edited digital photos included. Extra edits are $25 each, no minimum. Prints and wall art available too, all optional.
- Land sessions are outdoor in Frisco, Little Elm, and DFW spots, timed near golden hour.
- Underwater sessions are pool-based and scheduled separately. Pool location coordinated together.
- Need to reschedule? Just let me know. I'm flexible for genuine reasons. No rebooking fee.
- A simple model release is required so I can use the photos in my portfolio, on my site, and in marketing.
- Sharing at least one photo on your socials with @amerkhalid tagged (or amerkhalid.com mentioned) is part of the deal. Required, not optional.

- Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian on site, and to sign the release. Parents booking for a senior welcome.
