DFW Second Shooter Services
If you’re looking for a dependable second shooter in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, I can help. Based in Frisco, Texas, I regularly assist photographers across Plano, Dallas, and North Texas. I’m a PPA member with full liability insurance coverage and a professional approach to every event.
I stay active most weekends but try to accommodate additional bookings when possible. Share your event details, and we’ll coordinate availability.
Gear
Primary: Sony A7 IV with 85mm f/1.8
Backup: Fujifilm X100F
All images are shot in RAW for maximum flexibility. Unedited JPEGs from the Fuji are available when applicable.
Style
My work blends documentary and portrait photography, ideal for:

- Corporate or private events around Frisco, Plano, and DFW
I focus on authentic, natural moments that complement the lead photographer’s storytelling style. My goal is to support your creative vision while capturing additional perspectives and candid emotion.
Portfolio Use
I request permission to use select images in my portfolio at amerkhalid.com and on social media. Credit is always given to the lead photographer when applicable.
Rates & Booking
- $100/hour plus travel
- $100 deposit required to confirm booking
- 3-hour minimum ($300 total)
Final full-resolution images delivered after payment completion
Insurance
Fully insured through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
