The $100 booking fee confirms your date and goes toward your total.
What You Get#
- Raw images from a Sony A7IV with 85mm f/1.8 lens
- All images culled so you never have to worry about deleting bad shots or duplicates
- Documentary and candid coverage that complements your lead photographer

No Lasers#
If any portion of the event uses lasers (dance floor, reception, grand entrance, etc.), that portion will not be covered. Lasers destroy camera sensors and I won’t risk my equipment. Let me know ahead of time if lasers are part of the plan so we can work around it.
Activities My Policy Excludes#
My liability insurance carves out a specific list of activities, so I can’t shoot any portion of an event built around them:
- Watercraft of any kind (boat exits, jet skis, party barges)
- Horseback, rodeo, and steer riding
- Motorsports, including truck and tractor pulls
- Rock or mountain climbing, whitewater rafting, surfing
- Skydiving, hang gliding, parachuting, bungee jumping
- Scuba diving and snorkeling
- Skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, bike jumping
- Combat sports like wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts
Drone work is the one exception. It’s excluded from my standard policy too, but I carry on-demand aerial coverage for flights on a paid job.

- Drone: DJI Mini 4 Pro, Part 107 licensed for commercial use. Aerial work isn’t covered by my standard policy, so I buy on-demand drone insurance for any flight on a paid job.

FAQ#
Can you show up same-day? Yes. That’s the whole point. If your second shooter bailed, text me or call (214) 471-5522 and I’ll let you know if I’m available.
What camera and lens do you use? Sony A7IV with an 85mm f/1.8 lens. All images are delivered as raw files, culled so you only get the good ones.
Do you cover events with lasers? I will not cover any portion of an event that uses lasers. Lasers can damage camera sensors and those portions will not be included in coverage.
Are there activities you can’t shoot? Yes. My liability policy excludes a set of activities, so I can’t cover any part of an event involving watercraft, horseback or rodeo, motorsports, climbing or rafting, skydiving or bungee jumping, scuba and snorkeling, skiing, snowboarding or skateboarding, or combat sports. Drone work is the exception since I buy on-demand aerial coverage for it. Flag anything like this when you reach out and I’ll shoot around it.
What’s the booking fee? $100 non-refundable booking fee to confirm. This goes toward your total.
How many hours can you shoot? Maximum 4 hours per event. $75/hour with a $200 minimum. Travel time is billed at $50/hour.
Are you insured? Yes, full liability insurance. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additional insured, tell me when you book and I’ll send it over before the event. Aerial work sits on a separate on-demand policy, so say so if the venue needs the drone covered on that certificate too.
