I’m Amer Khalid—software engineer by day, portrait and underwater photographer whenever life lets me reach for a camera. What began as a childhood fascination has grown into a craft I hope to pursue full‑time someday.
The View from Home
When I’m off‑camera, you’ll find me stacking LEGO bricks with my two boys (7 and 4), sharing quiet coffee with my wife, or being shadowed by Simba, our pint‑sized dog. Fatherhood reminds me daily how fast chapters turn—today’s wobbly tooth is tomorrow’s confident smile. That realization keeps me ready to capture honest, fleeting moments before they slip away.

I work wherever the light is good—especially underwater—but here’s where I’m most often invited:
