Hey, I’m Amer#
I’m a portrait photographer based in Frisco, TX. Most of my work is with high school seniors and athletes across North Texas, but I’m always looking for ways to push a session somewhere unexpected.
That might mean finding a location with incredible light, setting up studio-style lighting in the middle of a field, or taking the whole shoot underwater. I’m drawn to the kind of portraits that make people stop scrolling.
How I Got Here#
Photography started as a creative outlet from my day job in software engineering. I picked up a camera, started shooting golden hour portraits at local parks, and couldn’t stop. Then I discovered underwater photography, and everything clicked. The combination of light, movement, and something genuinely different hooked me. Now it’s the thing I’m most known for, and every session I shoot, whether it’s on land or in the water, carries that same energy: bold, intentional, and a little unexpected.
I live here in Frisco with my wife, two boys, and a small dog who thinks he’s big. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually at one of my kids’ games, planning the next shoot, or exploring somewhere new. What a Session With Me Looks Like#
Every session is fully guided. I’ll help you plan outfits, pick the right location, and walk you through posing so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. Whether we’re at a park at golden hour, in a downtown alley with studio lighting, or in the pool for an underwater set, I want you to feel confident and have a genuinely good time.
I keep things simple: no confusing packages, no hard sells, no surprise fees. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting before we start. I take on a limited number of sessions each month so every client gets my full attention.
